Saint Malo, la ville corsaire, and the entire Bretagne region are wonderful places to visit. You can find detailed information on Saint Malo's attractions, including nearby trips, at the Palais du Grand Large website. Some key activities are the Ramparts walk, with a "galette" pit stop for lunch. Visit the "petit Bé" when the ocean will let you, and enjoy an icecream while watching the waves break down on the coast, and appreciate one of the highest tides in Europe. If you want to adventure farther than the Corsair City, the Mont Saint Michel, UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a must-see. If you have time, the night visit of the Saint Michel Abbey usually has classical music, light shows and a wonderful atmosphere.
